R.C.I.A. is an acronym for the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults. The RCIA is a process whereby adults can learn about the Catholic Church, and so discern whether to become Catholic Christians. R.C.I.A. is also for Baptized Catholics, who have not completed all the initiation sacraments, or who wish to learn more about their Catholic Faith.
